“It’s my belief that sanity lies in realizing that reality is not exactly what we had in mind”.

Technology is developing so quickly that life is getting more complicated. With people’s expectations and aspirations growing, stress levels are rising startlingly.

Employers put a lot of pressure on their staff to offer goods and services with innovation and creativity to outperform the fierce competition.

During this process, employees go through weariness at work, which raises their stress levels. Workers also desire to go above and beyond to establish and maintain their survival.

In this situation, isolation is the most important thing you can do to relieve tension, anxiety, boredom, and monotony.

    How does one define solitude?

People frequently mix up being alone and being lonely. This is untrue. A brief period spent by oneself without making any physical touch with other people is known as solitude.

It’s entirely similar to taking a weekly vacation from ordinary employment. It is comparable to taking a little vacation absence.

In the same way that individuals fast to give their bodies a break, they also seek out isolation to give their minds a temporary vacation.

Having a lonely or isolated life

People frequently use the terms “solitude” and “loneliness” interchangeably. There is, nevertheless, a skinny line dividing the two. While isolation is a positive state, loneliness is a negative state.

Engaging oneself in a healthy internal thought process as a friend is facilitated by solitude. Missing something in life is reflected in loneliness. It stands for seclusion.

The body and mind are depleted by loneliness, yet isolation revitalizes. If isolation is sweetness, then loneliness is bitterness. In other words, loneliness is imposed, whereas isolation is chosen.

    Benefits of Isolation

    • It’s the most effective method for discovering who you are.
    • It clears your mind and gets rid of clutter, which improves focus.
    • It lessens the effects of stress.
    • It brings out the best in you and helps you go deep within.
    • Improved self-awareness, self-control, and self-discipline are facilitated by it.
    • It aids in replenishing depleted energy. In addition, it generates new energy and fosters innovation and creativity.
    • It supports analytical self-examination, which enhances personality for overall success.
    • It restores your energy and gives you the courage and optimism to continue.

To be alone is to be strong.

You become bored with routine tasks. After that, it’s time to spend time alone reflecting and self-analyzing. It is time to retreat into isolation when you wish to do things differently.

People visit beaches to spend time alone among the sounds of the waves, calming and bolstering their will.

History demonstrates that several exceptional leaders favoured spending time alone when faced with hardship. In the epic Mahabharat, Duryodana submerged himself in the river to absorb new energy and temporarily regain his composure during the Kurukshetra war.

It seemed a bit alone. Saints and sages retreat alone to conduct introspective self-examination. They travel to a calm location and relish their alone time. Aloneness, then, is courage.

People should spend time alone daily to maintain reasonable physical, mental, and spiritual health. It ought to be viewed as a time commitment and investment.

Few employers offer their employees who work for a certain amount of time sabbatical leave. It enables them to decompress and return to work with renewed vigour.

In summary, given the increasing ambiguity and complexity of technology’s rapid advancement, individuals and institutions must take regular breaks from social interaction.
